Made to Measure
Every dress and skirt can be cut to your own measurements for a small extra charge. Choose Made to measure in the size menu on any product and the measurement boxes will appear.
What you need
- A soft tape measure, and a friend if possible.
- Light, close-fitting clothes, or the underwear you’ll wear with the dress.
- The shoes you plan to wear, for length.
How to measure
- Bust: around the fullest part, keeping the tape level under your arms.
- Waist: around the narrowest part of your torso, usually just above the navel. For kilted skirts, measure where you want the waistband to sit.
- Hip: around the fullest part of your seat, with your feet together.
- Shoulder width: across your back from one shoulder point to the other.
- Length: for dresses, from the highest point of your shoulder down to where you want the hem; for skirts, from your waist to the hem.
Keep the tape snug but not tight, and measure twice. If anything looks unusual we will contact you before we cut.
Returns on made-to-measure
